VAT and duty for orders delivered to Europe
Your Islabike will be delivered on a DAP (“Delivery At Place”) service. This means UK VAT is removed from your order by us at checkout, but you will be liable for your local VAT and any duty prior to receiving your bike. This will be estimated in UK pounds but will be payable in local currency and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
Please note that without payment of this your bike will not be released from customs into your country and may be returned to Islabikes. Payment of local VAT and duty is your responsibility and not included in the price that you pay to Islabikes.
It is your responsibility to reclaim any local VAT and duty paid should you decide to return your order under our returns policy.
As we do not deal B2B we are not involved in any VAT refund schemes and will not be able to process VAT refunds for items delivered within the UK.
Freight Forwarding Companies
Islabikes do not deliver to freight forwarding companies. If you place an order to a freight forwarding company we reserve the right to refuse your order and will be unable to offer any aftersales service including delivery support. The bike will not be covered by any warranty.
6) Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days. To cancel your order please contact our customer service team on +44 (0) 1584 708 383. Please ensure you retain possession of your order and take reasonable care of it. Islabikes retains the right to inspect any returns and deduct monies for wear and tear or damage, including where the item has been either checked or used.
View our Returns page for full details of our 90 day returns policy.
8) After Sales Service

• Reviews containing profanity, offensive or harmful language
• Reviews regarding an order that is subject to an ongoing technical support case

Your Islabike comes with a 5 year guarantee on frame and forks and a 2 year guarantee on parts. This covers faulty manufacturing, but not wear and tear. This guarantee only applies to the original purchaser of the bike and is only valid within the countries that we ship to.
If you require any technical assistance following the purchase of your Islabikes, please contact our technical support team email@example.com.
Your statutory rights are not affected by the guarantee.
