The ultimate lightweight, perfect-fitting junior hardtail
The Creig Pro Series takes our weight saving ethos to the extreme, stripping out every spare gram to create the lightest mountain bike frame we’ve ever made. It’s not only about the weight, we’ve applied all our knowledge on exactly how a bike should fit and feel to guarantee top performance and maximum enjoyment for a smaller rider.
The Creig Pro Series’ geometry gives high speed and descending stability without compromising steep climbing performance. Its race-bred handling puts you in total control however hard you’re pushing the pace. Enhanced mud-clearance allows you to run wide off-road tyres.
From XC to DH it’s now been race proven that bigger wheels roll over rough terrain more smoothly, plus they increase traction and handling stability. The Creig Pro Series come in proportioned 24″ and 26″ wheel versions to give riders the biggest possible advantage without affecting Islabikes’ perfect fit and handling.
Junior-tuned forks for maximum control
Rock Shox TK30 Gold air-sprung forks stay sensitive and smooth even under the lightest riders to maximise control and confidence. Smaller fork stanchions with less seal drag mean the TK30 Gold keeps moving smoothly at low air pressures not sticking like bigger forks will with lighter riders. We also set up every fork with the right pressure and damping settings for a confident junior rider so you’re good to go straight away.
Rock Shox’s TK damper control and air spring can be tuned exactly to your weight and ride feel preferences and there’s even an easy reach lockout lever for smashing the climbs and sprints.
11-speed gears have you covered from the steepest climb to the fastest descent
SRAM’s race-bred 11-speed GX delivers all the gears you need whilst the clutch rear mech and narrow wide chainring keep things secure. A single chainring means perfect gear progression up or down with every twist of the Gripshift.
SRAM GX 11-speed Gripshift aren’t just the lightest shifters, they also have the lightest feel. The intuitive and simple twist action ensures full bar contact and is safer than stretching thumbs to reach under-bar triggers. SRAM’s unique 1:1 cable ratio guarantees a smoother shift whatever the weather.
Full control with hydraulic disc brakes and unique handlebar setup
Hydraulic disc brakes give featherlight speed control. The brake lever's near-the-bar pivot point, coupled with our super-slim handlebar and grips mean small hands are kept close to the levers for 100% control. 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors give you all the stopping power you need whilst the full hydraulic system automatically adjusts for pad wear and temperature.
Our custom sweep, double butted narrow diameter handlebars place hands perfectly for control and keep wrists at the ideal angle. The handlebar’s short centre bulge means plenty of room for the shifter, brakes and grips.
Ultra light, low Q-factor cranks to maximise your effort
The Creig Pro Series’ custom alloy cranks are ultralight, size-specific and uniquely narrow in stance meaning the rider's feet sit closer together for improved pedaling ergonomics. We combine them with a hollow titanium bottom bracket to power smaller riders to their biggest achievements.
Race-light, tubeless ready wheels for blistering acceleration
Stan’s Crest rims built with 24 super thin, double butted, 15g stainless spokes keep weight down and ride feel lively. Super light disc hubs and hollow shaft QR skewers complete the package to keep the final gram count down and speed up.
Tubeless ready rims and tyres let you run lower pressures for increased traction with reduced puncture risk. Schwalbe tyres are the racers choice. That’s why our Creig Pro Series 24 and 26 bikes roll on their super fast but surefooted Rocket Ron Performance rubber.
Ready to ride
Every Creig Pro Series is fully prepared by our specially trained mechanics before delivery. Brakes are perfectly adjusted, tyre and fork pressures are pre-set and gears are on point. Following some minor assembly you’re Crieg Pro Series will be ready to hit the trails as soon as you receive it.
We also include a spare inner tube, tubeless valves and a set of allen keys to keep you on the trail not heading to your bike shop.
